Every grid contains an anagram hidden among decoy letters.

Progress from introductory 2x2 board layouts to intermediate 3x3 grids, all the way up to advanced 4x4 mazes.

Multiple Solutions

A single puzzle frequently contains more than one valid path. Discovering alternative routes with longer words yields a higher score.

Strategic Modifiers

Solve grids to level up and earn Badges. Use these Badge effects to actively alter the playing field and combine them to achieve new high scores.

Track Your Progress

Monitor your overall performance on the Scoreboard, review past grids in your Puzzle History, and replay levels to beat your previous best.

A Message From the Creator

I built Mazebound because I spend more hours than I would like on trains. I needed a way to give my restless, yet exhausted, mind a quiet challenge during the long commutes.

Traditional word puzzles felt a little too static, but the last thing I wanted was the pressure of a ticking clock. I just wanted a tactile mental exercise; something to engage my hands and focus my thoughts.

Mazebound is a peaceful balance of logic and gentle activity. Solving these relaxing brain teasers has turned my daily journey into a moment of calm, making the trip feel much shorter. I hope it brings you the same focus to your day.
